La Liga Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional expresó este jueves su más profundo rechazo al secuestro del grandeliga de los Nacionales de Washington y jugador de los Tigres de Aragua, Wilson Ramos.
Por medio de un comunicado emitido este jueves en horas de la mañana, la LVBP precisa que este hecho ha “consternado al país” razón por la cual esperan que “este acontecimiento tenga un desenlace favorable” tanto para Ramos, como su familia.
“Nos plegamos al clamor de la sociedad en general y al segmento beisbolero, que en Venezuela es mayoritario, para que hechos de esta naturaleza y eventos criminales de cualquier índole, no ocurran más en el país”, indica el texto. Instan además a las autoridades a realizar las acciones necesarias para que el hecho se solucione “lo más rápido posible”.

La Liga Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional condena y lamenta profundamente el secuestro del jugador de los Tigres de Aragua, BBC Wilson Ramos, hecho que ha consternado al país, especialmente a quienes siguen el beisbol venezolano.
Esperamos igualmente que este acontecimiento tenga un desenlace favorable para Wilson Ramos y su familia y para ello elevamos nuestros ruegos al Todopoderoso y exhortamos a las autoridades, de manera contundente, a realizar todas las pesquisas necesarias, que conduzcan a una solución lo más rápido posible.
Nos plegamos al clamor de la sociedad en general y al segmento beisbolero, que en Venezuela es mayoritario, para que hechos de esta naturaleza y eventos criminales de cualquier índole, no ocurran más en el país.
Expresamos nuestra solidaridad a toda la familia del jugador Wilson Ramos, a sus compañeros en el club Tigres de Aragua, a sus amigos y lo extendemos al conglomerado beisbolero en Grandes Ligas, donde el joven venezolano ha tenido un desempeño destacado.
Por la libertad de Wilson Ramos, hagamos sentir nuestras oraciones y sentimientos de afecto y cariño.

Me cuenta GOLFREDO, que hace alrededor de sesenta anos, en unos Carnavales de Maracaibo, se disfrazó de Mago, con varita mágica y todo.
En uno de esos GORO GOROS, de la Sala de Fiestas EL PESCAÍTO, de la Avenida El Milagro de Maracaibo, se le
acercó a una Negrita GUAPACHOSA, y le susurró al oído: TE GUSTARIA QUE ECHARAMOS UN POLVO MAGICO....???
La negrita emocionada le respondió: MAGO, y cómo es eso....???

 NORVI GUERRA El careta de los Tigres de Aragua y los Nacionales de Washington fue secuestrado en Valencia mientras visitaba a su mamá. El jugador fue captado por dos hombres armados que entraron a la casa y se lo llevaron. El jugador tenía planeado debutar en la temporada 2011-12 el martes de la semana que viene. Medios de los Estados Unidos, como el Washington Post también reseñaron el hecho haciendo énfasis en que el venezolano es considerado como uno de los mejores peloteros jóvenes de los Nacionales. La máxima autoridad del beisbol en nuestra país encabezado por José Grasso Vecchio no dudó en expresar su pesar por la difícil situación por la que está atravesando Ramos. "Asumimos esto con mucha tristeza y preocupación, pero sabemos que es un hecho aislado todas las autoridades están desplegadas buscando a Wilson. Oremos para que esté bien. Este hecho le hace un gran daño al corazón de todos los venezolanos, es uno de los delitos más atroces que se pueden cometer, todas las autoridades están activados buscándolo". Con respecto a la forma con la que Major League Baseball podría ver la situación Grasso señaló: "Hicimos contacto con MLB y les expresamos que era un hecho excepcional que trae tristeza a todo el país porque se trata del pasatiempo nacional. Tenemos esperanza que el despliegue de las autoridades tenga resultados positivos". El presidente de la LVBP también informó que el ente aplicará nuevas medidas que puedan garantizar la seguridad de los peloteros. Manuel Rodríguez, gerente de medios de los Tigres de Aragua considera que no es prudente pronunciarse al respecto debido a que es una situación que forma parte de una realidad que padecen los venezolanos. "Creemos que no se debe jugar con una cosa como esa ni poner en peligro la vida del jugador". Así mismo el presidente del conjunto felino, Rafael Rodríguez escribió en su cuenta de twitter: "Estoy en casa de Wilson, esperemos que todo salga bien. La prudencia y mesura es importante... En nombre de Dios…". Melvin Mora fue bastante contundente al expresar su opinión acerca de lo ocurrido con Ramos: "Los peloteros deberían parar el campeonato, Wilson es uno de nosotros y lo que es con él es con todos. Esto puede traer consecuencias porque ¿Qué grandeliga va a querer venir a Venezuela con una situación así?. Muchas veces me preguntan por qué no me uniformo, ahí está la respuesta. Si esto hubiera ocurrido en Estados Unidos los peloteros hubieran parado el campeonato". Para el momento de cierre de esta edición no se disponía de mayor información acerca del paradero de Wilson. |

EL ALEMAN PIUS HEINZ GANA LA SERIE MUNDIAL DE POKER 2011 Y SE LLEVA MAS DE OCHO MILLONES DE DOLARES...

It was months ago that 6,865 hopefuls entered the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event for a shot at glory. On Sunday, just nine of them remained. Here today, there's only one man standing and that is German 22-year-old Pius Heinz.
After 178 hands were played on Sunday to eliminate the first six players at the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event final table, three of them returned to action today. Pius Heinz held the chip lead over Ben Lamb and Martin Staszko. The cards were in the air at 5:50 PM PT and we wouldn't have to wait long for the fireworks to be set off.
On the very first hand of play, Lamb and Staszko went to war. Heinz folded his button and Lamb came in raising from the small blind to three million with the blinds at 600,000/1,200,000/200,000. Staszko put in a three-bet to 7.5 million from the big blind and then Lamb shoved in, having Staszko's smaller stack covered. Staszko made the call and the entire Penn & Teller Theatre was up on its feet.

On the very next hand, Staszko took the chip lead from Heinz. Lamb had the button and he folded. Staszko was counting out raising chips in the small blind and he made it three million straight. Heinz flatted in the big and off they went heads up.

Staszko's kings up were plenty good to win him the pot and he moved into the lead with 106.2 million in chips. He then earned more chips after busting Lamb in third place on the 182nd hand of the final table.
Lamb moved all in for 10.9 million from the small blind after Heinz folded the button. Staszko called from the big blind after waking up to the 
The heads-up match between Staszko and Heinz saw Staszcko with the lead at first. He had 117.3 million in chips to Heinz's 88.6 million. From there, things would go back and forth over the following 119 hands.
Over the course of the duel, Heinz was by far the more aggressive player. He kept constant pressure on Staszko in order to chip away hand after hand. There was one problem though, Heinz kept finding spots to give Staszko back a ton of chips and let him right back into the match. The common pattern seemed to be win, win, win, win, win, then one big loss to set it all back.
Heinz made a couple of bad calls against Staszko that caused him to fall well behind and he seemed to be fading. Every time Heinz would start to chip back up, Staszko would whack him right back down the ladder. Then, on Hand #293, it was time to rock and roll for Heinz in order to get the bracelet right back in his grasp.
Staszko limped in from the button and Heinz raised to 7.9 million in the big blind. Staszko called it pretty quickly, the flop came 
Now it was Staszko with the decision, and he doesn't normally tank for the camera. Indeed, the call came just a minute later and the cards were on their backs with Heinz at risk.

"He's ahead!" Heinz's fans began to get giddy as they leaned in and gazed up at the monitors. The ace-queen was indeed the best hand, but Staszko was drawing live to the clubs and the nines left in the deck.

The flop came down 
For Staszko, it's the end of a long, hard run. He really did play some fantastic poker for the past two sessions, and going back into July for that matter. When the dust settled, though, his run came up just one place short of a spot in poker's history books. The first bracelet will have to wait for now, but Martin Staszko is certainly a name you're going to be seeing again.
The last image we have of Staszko is of him on the rail, head down, clutched in the arms of his supporters. It's all over now and Staszko will wake up with a consolation prize of more than $5.4 million.
On the other side of the coin, Pius Heinz became the first-ever WSOP Main Event champion from Germany and earned himself $8,715,638 in prize money. He's also going to be rocking the most coveted prize in all of poker, the WSOP Main Event bracelet! Congratulations to all of the winners, but especially to Pius Heinz! He's worked hard and now it's time to party hard.
